1. Service Description

ViralClaw ("the Service") is a video captioning API that transforms videos into viral shorts with AI-powered captions. The Service is operated by ViralClaw.

2. Account & Credits

New accounts receive 3 free credits (1 credit = 1 minute of video processing).
Additional credits can be purchased at $29 for 200 credits.
Credits never expire.
Credits are non-transferable between accounts.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for illegal purposes or to process content you don't have rights to.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or abuse the API.
Share API keys or allow unauthorized access to your account.
Circumvent rate limits or security measures.

4. Content & Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your input videos and output content.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to process any video submitted.
Processed videos are stored temporarily and deleted after delivery (max 24 hours).

5. Refund Policy

If you've used fewer than 10 credits, you may request a full refund.
Refund requests should be sent to the support email.

6. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind.

7. Limitation of Liability

ViralClaw shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

1. Information We Collect

Account Data

API key (generated on signup)
Email address (if provided)
Payment information (processed by Stripe — we don't store card details)

Usage Data

API requests (endpoints, timestamps, response codes)
Credit usage and transaction history

Video Data

Videos submitted for processing are stored temporarily (max 24 hours) and then permanently deleted.
We do not retain, analyze, or share your video content beyond processing.

2. How We Use Information

To provide and improve the Service
To process payments
To communicate important service updates
To detect and prevent abuse

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share information only with:

Stripe — for payment processing
Cloudflare R2 — for temporary video storage
Sentry — for error monitoring (no video data)

4. Data Retention

Account data: retained while your account is active
Video files: deleted within 24 hours of processing
Usage logs: retained for 90 days

5. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support.

6. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS), secure credential storage, and access controls to protect your data.
